Educational Opportunities

Education is a factor of great importance to the success of a child. Providing tutoring and assistance with homework, encouragement, and the tools necessary for success, including improved parent participation, inspires participants to complete secondary education and increase graduation rates among minors identified as at-risk. Carter’s Crew will introduce participants to post-secondary and trade school opportunities. Carter's Crew offers after school programming for youth ages 12-17 in Pulaski County.  We offer virtual classes and in person after school programming.  Our youth programs are federally, state and privately funded.  All services provided to families are free of charge to them.

UN-Repeating the Cycle

"The Un-Repeating the Cycle” project is a program designed to deter gang enrollment among youth aged 12-17, reduce the number of violent crimes committed by and against the targeted demographic, increase family participation in activities for those at risk of gang recruitment, provide education, training, resources and a safe environment in which to learn and grow.

This project is supported by Grant 2020PBBX0020 awarded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Office of Justice (OJJDP) Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.
